Although I skipped blogging the autumn one, I wanted a little break from otome gaming so this is a post on the nico concert last saturday.  It’s already the third concert (all worth 1500 yen) that I’ve watched and all I can say, this was by far the best. And unlike before…. I RECORDED IT!!! so now I can watch it again. … sigh, what am I doing? I know I will regret using so much money on this in the future but … =.=

Nico Nico Douga 2010 NATSU DAIKAIGI -Egao no Chikara-

So… I just finished watching the Daikaigi, practically a concert for nico nico. And… IT WAS GREAT!! Although I did bother paying (1500yen) to watch it and the first 45 minutes was simply advertisements, I definetely do not regret watching it. More like it was amazing. Well, watched it on the internet. Didn’t go to Japan. Too expensive. Also if you see it live its about 5000 yen. =.=

I wasn’t even thinking of blogging it so didn’t take any screenshots until the last song so I apologize about that.

Okay, I was surfing nico nico as usual when I came across ISHIDA AKIRA!! Man, he is definetely in my top 5 male seiyuu’s. Well, this is him acting out 7 roles (normal guy, mother, lil bro, lil sis, grandad, grandma, father)

and others that aren’t pro…

VOCALOID VIDS ② – Moe

Well, I’m currently enjoying playing tokimeki memorial but I’m no where near finishing it, I decided to blog again about Vocaloid. This really depends on whether you like japanese music. If you don’t, just listen it for hot voices of the people covering it! (ノ*゜▽゜*)　… shame that this post is about moe. No hot voices.

Though there are loads of video’s featuring Miku, Rin, Luka etc that seems like an eroge, as usual I can’t really find things that seem like an otome game. Shows how much of Nico vids audience are male. No wait, at the live they had, most of them were fangirls and whenever there’s a guy guy duet all of the comments are from fujoshi (BL lovers). You never know I guess.

So yeah, as there are loads of different types of genre, I decided to post mainly on moe. So expect a lot of the girls (not sure how to have a moe kaito/gackpo song, maybe ren. who knows?). And I find it normally more moe when it’s got the vocaloid voices so yeah…

Well, everybody knows Mario right? The fat italian plumber (well I think he is) who is made to save princess Peach from Bowser (or Kuppa in Jap). I’ve completed the game loads of times and I think at least anyone who’s played it knows that it’s a good game to play. Maybe a little boring but let’s ignore that fact.

So, as some people felt it was boring what would be better than to make a harder level. Only problem is that they made it way too hard.

Nothing to do with otome games and stuff but it’s interesting anyway. This is part one and you can find the rest on youtube.

TOKIMEKI MEMORIAL GIRL’S SIDE 3 RELEASED!!

IT”S OUT! AT LAST.

Today, Tokimeki Memorial girl’s side 3rd story is released in Japan. Man, how long have I waited for this game. It’s taken too long. I feel like I will die (not really, just shows how much I waited for the game) if I don’t play this.

Anybody who followed Bakemonogatari must know what I’m talking about.

Rennai Circulation was the opening song for episode 10 and is the image song for Sengoku Nadeko (the heroine of Nadeko Snake).

The impact that the opening had on the audience (including me for some part) was extremely devastating (?).

Well, I might start with the most popular Rennai Circulation parody… I even downloaded it for my ipod! （*’‐’*)

It’s リモーネ先生 [Rimone Sensei] doing Uzaya Circulation… Uzaya is  play on words as the character is called Izaya and Uzai means to be annoying.

Once again, it’s about how amazing the japanese otaku’s can be. If they like something enough, they can do anything.

This post is all about Bad Apple!!

If you are a Nico Videoer, then most likely you’ve heard of Touhou. I myself don’t know much about it except that it’s this doujin shooting game and that it’s popular enough to get a whole category on Nico Vid called ‘Touhou’.

Well, there are loads of video’s online and one of the most famous ones would be ‘Bad Apple!!’. This is actually a song from the 4th Touhou game and is normally associated with the boss of that level called エリー [Elly] (the one on the left). Well, the PV for Bad Apple is absolutely amazing. Oh ya, the song is called Bad Apple!! and it says that it’s based off the line ‘One bad apple spoils the barrel’ or something. The song is nice too.

See how amazing this is?

Vocaloid Vids

As I don’t think that I can finish the game that im currently playing that quickly and knowing me, I think I will post a review on it by the weekend, I decided to blog about my other hobby right now which is surfing Nico-nico douga and watching Vocaloid (fan-made, I guess) music. Although Vocaloid’s are voice-synthesising robots, I simply listen to the otaku’s real people who cover the songs.

You might have heard of Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Ren/Rin etc and those are examples of Vocaloid.

I have at least 200 vocaloid (or covered) songs on my iPod so I can proudly (?) say that I am a fan of vocaloid. One thing that I like about Vocaloid is that people who have no time make a lot of songs and there are a wide genre so its quite expected that you’ll find at least one song that you will like.
